What it does

Editing in Melodex happens against tracks, clips, and MIDI on the timeline. You can select material, rewrite it, resize it, move it, or make a focused request while the rest of the project remains available as context.

How to use it

  1. 1Select the clip or section you want to affect.
  2. 2Make the change in the piano roll, arrangement, or with a natural-language request.
  3. 3Listen in context, then refine or undo the result.

Useful when

  • The verse works but the chorus needs a different level of energy.
  • You want to preserve a melody while adjusting harmony, groove, or instrumentation around it.
